Researchers used AlphaFold-Multimer to screen more than 630,000 possible pairings among about 1,100 human mitochondrial proteins, cataloging 2,895 likely interactions, over half unreported. Follow-up experiments in yeast and human cells confirmed several predictions, and the team released the data through MitoMatch.
