A survey of 793 school-based ag teachers across 13 Southern states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands found that teachers in "urban" communities were among the groups more likely to recognize farm stressors than their "rural" counterparts. Researchers say people immersed in farming communities may simply grow used to pressures that outsiders spot faster.
