Research from NYU Abu Dhabi using Danish population records from 2018 to 2024 found that subsidized Ozempic treatment for diabetes raised the probability of employment by 4.1 percentage points, while self-paying Wegovy users who were already employed worked an additional 29.7 hours per quarter.
