NYC Marathon runner Rachel Apa told dad ‘I’ve never felt this good’ before collapsing in home stretch
Rachel Apa, 24, died before crossing the finish line of her first New York City Marathon after collapsing in the final stretch, her family said. The family said she lost consciousness because of rhabdomyolysis, a rare muscle condition.
