
NY construction worker dies after he’s submerged during water main break near Long Island’s largest mall
A 56-year-old contractor drowned Friday when a water main break flooded the hole he was working in outside Roosevelt Field mall. Coworkers pulled him out before paramedics arrived, but he died at the hospital, as police shut down Ring Road for hours to investigate.
