A federal judge threw out the Justice Department's attempt to use a law written to protect abortion clinics against pro-Palestinian protesters at a New Jersey synagogue. Offensive or hostile protest isn't the same as a FACE Act violation, the judge ruled, giving the government 30 days to try again.
