Holiday spending is set to drop 11 per cent to an average of $1,487 this year, but 54 per cent of Canadians say they'd pay more for Canadian-made goods over imports, up from 49 per cent. The survey predates the latest US trade flare-up, so the patriotic streak may run even deeper now.
