Synology is urging customers to update DiskStation Manager after ransomware attacks targeted NAS devices running outdated DSM versions. The company linked the attacks to a November 2024 advisory listing three vulnerabilities, while customers reported C3RB3R ransomware locking files with a .L0CK3D extension.
