Tesco is recruiting a software engineering leader to shift its in-store edge platform from VMware to Proxmox, though the retailer has not disclosed the number of stores or rollout timing. In a lawsuit, Tesco says its VMware licenses lost support in January 2026 and that an offer was far above its 2021 contract.
