Flipkart has grown an internal food-delivery trial from a few hundred employees to more than 8,000, with its own Ekart rider fleet, according to two people familiar with the matter. It has reportedly proposed a base commission of about 10% to restaurants, versus the 20% to 25% they typically pay Zomato and Swiggy.
