Webb's view of the galaxy cluster MACS J0454.1-030 shows lensed objects magnified by a factor of more than 300, according to astronomers' estimates. One galaxy in the image dates to just 800 million years after the Big Bang, and its light suggests a merger was setting off a huge burst of star formation.
