Cursor Uses S3 WAL to Scale Git Storage to More than 300 Pushes per Second

infoq.com/news/2026/09/cursor-continuity-git-storage

Cursor ditched replica coordination for Git hosting entirely, making an S3 write-ahead log the source of truth instead. The result: over 300 pushes per second in tests and linear scaling to 100 replicas, though Cursor's own figures haven't been independently verified.
