A new ACLU and Amnesty International report says UCLA's crackdown on its 2024 Gaza encampment, including a police response that left students shot with rubber bullets and beaten with batons, helped pave the way for Trump administration retaliation against campus activism nationwide. Protests have since dropped 64%.
