Raymond Robinson, a 62-year-old Muni bus operator, has driven San Francisco routes for 26 years and was among 179 drivers honored by the SFMTA with a Safe Driver Award, an honor he has received 17 years running. In 2023 he became a line trainer, coaching new drivers on navigating the city’s hills.
