Welcome to 'Uncanny Valley,' an otherworldly exhibit at the Blanton inhabited by whimsical creatures
A strawberry tree made of 500,000 tiny blue beads now stands in the middle of the Blanton Museum of Art, ringed by furry creatures and porcelain foliage. The Austin-raised Haas twins built it as part of a 15-year retrospective of their bronze, glass and fur sculptures, on view through Jan. 17.
