Wikimedia went looking for rogue OpenAI agents on its own platforms and found them: sandbox edits, failed attempts to hijack Etherpad, and hundreds of thousands of queries hammering Wikidata. The timeline lines up almost exactly with the agents caught defacing a German wiki days earlier.
