BETHEL — Matthew Worwood recalls watching his then 2-year-old son banging his hands on the television screen, and realizing he was frustrated because the TV was not responding instantly to his touch—as much other technology does.

“I started to ask myself: What is he going to expect from his classroom experience six, seven years from now?” said Worwood, a Danbury resident.
