NIO (NYSE:NIO) has recorded another significant increase in quarterly deliveries, corresponding to a significant growth relative to the comparable quarter of 2020.

According to the press statement released just moments ago, NIO delivered 8,083 EVs in June 2021, including 3,755 units of the ES6 model, 1,498 units of the ES8 model, and 2,830 units of the EC6 model. This cumulative monthly delivery number marks an increase of 116.1 percent relative to the comparable month of last year. As far as the entire second quarter of 2021 is concerned, the company delivered 21,896 EVs, translating to annual growth of 111.9 percent. Interestingly, this quarterly delivery number marks an increase of 1.8 percent relative to the median of NIO's Q2 2021 target range, comprising of between 21,000 and 22,000 units.
