Sonos has said it will continue to support legacy products in an apparent reversal of a statement made earlier this week.

The smart-speaker biz said on Tuesday it planned to drop support for some legacy gear, starting in May. The decision would not have immediately bricked old kit, but it did mean that customers with a mix of legacy and new equipment would not be able to run them together once the modern gear was updated with a new version of the Sonos software.
