Huawei's Mate X foldable tablet has seen more than its share of delays. Initially pegged to release in June, the release date has been pushed back on more than one occasion. Today, Huawei finally put out an official confirmation that the tablet would release in China on November 15th, according to a report by Sina Digital.

The primary difference between the Mate X and the Galaxy fold is that it folds outwards, while the Galaxy Fold folds inwards. That brings forth a whole new set of challenges, as the screen is always exposed to the elements. Thankfully, Huawei has been nice enough to include a clamshell case with every Mate X, so carrying it around shouldn't be much of a problem. It'll still be susceptible to dust and debris, and there isn't much that can be done about that.
