Hours before the Unpacked event, Samsung has unveiled information about its most powerful mobile SoC to date; the Exynos 9825. Manufacturing on the Korean giant’s 7nm EUV process, it succeeds the 8nm Exynos 9820, with Samsung’s latest technology promising up to 20-30 percent higher transistor performance while utilizing 30-50 percent less power. Here’s a look at everything else the Exynos 9825 supports and the kind of performance future flagship smartphone and tablet owners can experience.

Coming to the processor configuration first, the Exynos 9825 is running two of Samsung’s custom cores, coupled with two Cortex-A75 cores for optimal performance and four Cortex-A55 cores for maintaining energy efficiency. The company has currently not disclosed the clock speeds of tri-cluster CPU configuration, but rest assured that more information will come forth as Samsung draws its Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 5G launch to a close. Additionally, the GPU is an ARM Mali-G76 with 12 clusters, same as the Exynos 9820.
