Last year Amazon announced a new operations hub in Nashville. It will be built with $230 million in private money, and will create around 5,000 full time corporate jobs paying an average of $150k. The hub will focus primarily on operations and logistics within Amazon.

Every job created from Amazon is expected to create another 1.6 jobs across TN, approximately 13,000 additional. Gov. Bill Haslam states it is the largest job announcement in Tennessee’s history.
