Blu partnered with Google to introduce an entry-level smartphone with Android Pie (Go Edition), which is the first Go phone in the US to run the latest version of Android. The Blu Vivo Go is aimed at those on a budget or for parents who want to get their kids a basic phone, according to Blu.
Spec-wise the Blu Vivo Go is pretty bare-bones. It’s comparable to the Asus Zenfone Live, which ran the Go version of Android Oreo. The Vivo Go has a 6-inch 720 x 1440 HD+ curved glass display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. On the rear, there are dual 8-megapixel and a small 0.3-megapixel VGA camera, and the front has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There’s a fingerprint sensor on the back.
