Q: In 1983, I drove my old Volvo 122S with balding tires north on Highway 17 at night in the rain. I lost traction at an S curve, overcorrected and started spinning through the curve. I did a 360, an additional 90, and ended up with my rear bumper against the center divider, the engine stalled, cars coming at me in both lanes.

Luckily, they saw my wipeout, slowed and got past me on the shoulder. I started the engine and was soon on my again.
