MOUNTAIN VIEW — The former Menlo Church worship director who was fired in March for “inappropriate behavior online” years ago will not face charges for allegedly soliciting nude photos from a minor, the church said.

In a new update to the church community, Transitional Pastor John Crosby and Elder Board Chair David Kim said the Oklahoma City Police Department conducted an investigation on sexual misconduct allegations against Michael Bryce Jr. and decided not to file charges. Church leaders say the person who Bryce allegedly solicited nude photos from was either 16, 17 or 18 years old at the time.
