EMERYVILLE — A huge expansion of an innovation hub in Emeryville is slated to begin construction next year, a new project that could bring thousands of advanced technology jobs to the East Bay city, developers said Monday.

The expansion of the Emeryville Center of Innovation will total 910,000 square feet, including the project’s first phase of 265,000 square feet, developer Biomed Realty said.
