Unvaccinated families are 40% more likely to visit Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood and other U.S. theme parks than fully vaccinated travelers, according to a new survey studying the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on travel.

The 2021 U.S. Family Travel Survey released in late September found that 70% of unvaccinated families plan to visit theme parks in the next 12 months, making it their top vacation choice. The sixth annual survey of 2,365 parents was conducted by the Family Travel Association and New York University School of Professional Studies in June and July.
