SAN JOSE – A person was found dead at the scene of a two-alarm fire Tuesday night in San Jose, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 8:10 p.m. on the 2900 block of Sherbrooke Way, the San Jose Fire Department said in a social media post. The fire was placed under control just before 9 p.m.
