SAN JOSE –  Authorities are offering $20,000 for the arrest of the person who has been shooting ball bearings at cars and buildings on Highway 87, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

There has been more than $500,000 in damage to windows and agencies, companies and residences that have been hit, officials said. The SAP Center, the San Jose Museum of Art and the District Attorney’s Crime Lab have also been struck and a woman had her car windows blown out, according to authorities.
