SAN JOSE — A firefighter was injured in a fall while responding to a two-alarm fire Monday morning at a townhome in the Willow Glen area, according to the San Jose Fire Department.

The fire was first reported at 11:43 a.m. in the attic of a two-story home on Ashmeade Court off Leigh Avenue north of Hamilton Avenue, the fire department said.
