Adult film actress Jessica Redding, better known by her stage name Jessica Jaymes, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead in her North Hills home on Tuesday, Sept. 17, officials said. She was 40.

A 911 caller reported a patient suffering from cardiac arrest at her residence on the 9000 block of Hayvenhurst Avenue at 4:09 p.m. Tuesday, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said Wednesday. Police and paramedics responded but Redding was pronounced dead at about 4:20 p.m., before she could be taken to a hospital.
