An off-duty sheriff’s deputy fatally shot his brother, an allegedly knife-wielding parolee, during a family gathering Saturday in San Bernardino County, officials said.
Deputies responded at 9:12 p.m. to reports of a shooting at a residence just off Interstate 10 in the Bloomington neighborhood, near Fontana, according to a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
