SAN MATEO COUNTY – A woman who died after her car went over a cliff on Highway 1 near Gray Whale Cove on Monday has been identified as 54-year-old San Francisco resident Yuri Kim, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office.

The crash was first reported about 7:50 a.m., and by 9:30 a.m., firefighters had rescued the critically injured woman. Kim’s silver Toyota sedan went over a barrier and tumbled about 200 feet down the cliff side, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said earlier this week.
