GERING — After a successful first year, the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and the Nebraska Game and Parks Department are partnering again to host the second annual Wildcat Hills Bioblitz.

On July 20 and 21, local residents can participate in the bioblitz, an engaging citizen science event designed to identify as many plant and animal species as possible within a designated area and time frame. Last year’s event found 139 species.
