The new director of the Space Science and Engineering Center at UW-Madison won't have to go far to get to his new office.

Brad Pierce will start his new job Oct. 1, after leaving his current job as a physical scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, within the Advanced Satellite Products branch on the UW-Madison campus.
