While onstage during Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference, the publisher's vice president, Pete Hines, took a shot at Walmart Canada. In May, the retailer listed several unannounced games on its website, including Rage 2--and Bethesda has a sense of humor about it.

At the beginning of the press conference, Hines quipped, "We're starting with a game we announced a few months ago through our friends at Walmart Canada." This of course refers to Rage 2 and was followed by a new trailer.
