The holiday season isn’t quite here yet, but the video game release calendar is already starting to fill up. September offers players a wide selection of games from major publishers, including Marvel’s Avengers, Mafia: Definitive Editions, Crusader Kings III, NBA 2K21, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2. Meanwhile, on the indie front, we have plenty of colorful options, including the quirky detective game Paradise Killer, ambitious RPG Star Renegades, and Jet Force Gemini spiritual successor, Tamarin.
