PlayStation Network is currently experiencing an outage, resulting in many people being unable to play games online or access other services related to Sony's online network. The PlayStation Network service status page currently states that "some services are experiencing issues." In the list of services experiencing issues account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Music, and the PlayStation Store are shown as being unavailable.

"You may have some difficulty signing in or creating an account on PlayStation Network," reads a message on the services page. "Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience." For Gaming and Social specifically, the details page states that players "may have some difficulty launching games, applications or online features."
