During a panel hosted at the E3 2018 Coliseum, Scott Herkelman, Vice President and General Manager of Radeon Gaming at AMD, announced a partnership with Ubisoft on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, due on March 15th, 2019. This is a departure from the first game, which was optimized for NVIDIA cards and even included several GameWorks features. However, AMD and Ubisoft seemed to have gotten close again recently after Far Cry 5 was also optimized for AMD cards.

Herkelman couldn’t provide more details yet on this partnership for The Division 2, though we do know the game should require DirectX 12 compatible hardware according to the Steam page.
