Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.1 ‘Tides of Vengance’ has boosted the performance of the MMO by up to 35% on AMD Ryzen CPUs, AMD reports.

Battle for Azeroth’s most recent content update, patch 8.1, was released on the live servers back in December of last year. As reported earlier, this update includes multithreaded performance optimizations for clients using DX12, and while we mentioned performance boots by up to 25%, AMD’s Ryzen Desktop Product Marketing Manager, Erin Maiorino, now reports even greater performance gains.
