“Saturday Night Live” producers are getting slammed for their surprising decision to tab Elon Musk as an upcoming host of the sketch comedy show. Among the apparent critics of the move are two cast members.

Last week it was announced that the polarizing Tesla CEO/SpaceX billionaire will host the May 8 episode alongside musical guest Miley Cyrus. The news was met with an immediate backlash on social media (one tweet called it “bafflingly terrible. Just gross.”). But Musk seemed to revel in the uproar, cryptically tweeting, “Let’s find out just how live Saturday Night Live really is” — a post that included a little devil emoji.
