PALO ALTO – A man killed in a shooting in Palo Alto on Tuesday has been identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office as Armando Montelongo Espinoza, 52, of San Jose.

Montelongo Espinoza called the city’s 24-hour dispatch center just after 3 a.m. to report he had been shot on the 700 block of San Antonio Road, according to Palo Alto police. Officers arrived to find him suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.
