SAN JOSE — San Jose High School was placed on lockdown for about an hour on Friday afternoon after an unfounded report of an active shooter on campus, according to San Jose police.

At around 12:17 p.m., the high school received a call that there was a shooter at the school, said public information officer Gina Tepoorten.
