SAN JOSE — A man was killed after a shooting involving San Jose Police Department officers on the side of Highway 85 on Saturday afternoon.

An “adult male suspect” was pronounced dead at the scene, north of Saratoga Avenue, after being shot around 3:15 p.m., an SJPD spokesman said. No officers were injured.
